Mr. Foster |
My TestimonyI had the privilege of being raised in a Christian home where I heard the gospel at an early age. When I was five, my mother led me to the Lord after I inquired about the meaning of a "wordless book" tract I had found in the car.
I also had the privilege of attending a Christian school in the Atlanta area from third grade through graduation. Our high school benefited from a week of ministry by the Wilds' staff each year on the Wilds camp site for three years and in our school chapel services during my senior year. I made many important decisions during those weeks including getting assurance of my salvation and dedicating my life to do whatever the Lord would have me do. |

I had the privilege of attending BJU initially as a premed major, but when God gave me the opportunity to teach and serve the youth of my church between my freshman and sophomore years, the Lord gave me a burden for the needs of young people. In the middle of my sophomore year the Lord led me to change my major to science education so that I could minister to young people through teaching science.
I taught high school for twelve years at a Christian school in the Atlanta area, where I met my wife and where my four daughters were born. I then taught high school for six years in the Raleigh area before coming to Bob Jones to teach 7th grade Life Science twelve years ago. I love middle school students and all their boundless energy, and I love sharing with them the many wonders of God's living creation. I also look forward to teaching Bible this year and specifically teaching about the life of our Lord that is recorded in the pages of Scripture. |
